Leah Raidt


Leah Raidt (she/they) is an actor, award-winning filmmaker, teaching artist and trauma-informed meditation teacher based in Louisville, KY after an 18 year career in Chicago, IL. Leah's work aims to uplift and advance LGBTQ+ artists and narratives toward our collective liberation. Leah has been coaching and teaching actors of all ages and experience, including children and teens, for over a decade. Leah directed/produced the short-film LEE BABY, named “Best LGBTQIA+” & “Best Drama” at 2024 Hollywood New Directors Festival, currently streaming on OTV. Leah received the 2022 Cinemafemme Halyana Hutchins Producer Award for their work building a safe, inclusive set on the short-film ROUGH RIVER LAKE, now streaming on Shortverse. Leah has performed at Steppenwolf Theatre, The Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, American Theatre Company, and many more. She holds a B.F.A in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University, and is an alum of The School at Steppenwolf, Chicago's Director's Workshop, and KY Governor’s School for the Arts. www.LeahRaidt.com
